Arctic Adventure

Kebnekaise is the highest mountain in Sweden. The Kebnekaise massif, which is part of the Scandinavian Mountains, has two main peaks, of which the southern, glaciated one is highest at 2,097.5 metres above sea level as of August 2014. The northern peak is 2,096.8 metres and free of ice.

What a wonderful nature it is. This picture makes me dream away!. It is a cold winter morning in the lower mountains from a snowmobile tour in February.

There are huge views from the mountain peaks when there is clear weather on the mountains.

It may happen that some days on the mountain can get down to -40 degree celcius cold in February.

This represents a frozen snowmobile on the mountain. It is one of many machines that we use nowadays as reindeer herders.
